Hans Koschnick Scholarships
The friends of the Research Centre for East European Studies Association issue scholarships for archive and research stays at the Research Centre for East European Studies in Bremen. These scholarships are for master students, postgraduates, PhD students, junior and senior researchers. On the one hand, the scholarships serve to conduct individual research in the archive at FSO and/or with the aid of research databases of FSO’s Department of Politics and Economics.
In the wake of Russia's war against Ukraine, a Hans Koschnick Special Scholarship programme was established in March 2022. Twenty scholars at risk were awarded with at Special Scholarship.
DONATION APPEAL:
With your help, the Research Centre for East European Studies was able to award 20 scholars at risk with a Hans Koschnick Special Scholarship. We are currently urgently looking for further sponsors and donors in order to be able to extend the stay of the scholars in Bremen.
We therefore continue to ask for your help and donations in order to be able to care for the refugee scholars in Bremen in the long term
