Selected materials from the FSO archive have been and are being digitized as part of joint projects with other archival or research institutions. The following digitized materials can be freely viewed on different research portals and collaborative platforms:
Digitized samizdat journals from the FSO archive
In cooperation with the University of Toronto, selected samizdat periodicals, primarily artistic-literary samizdat from the Soviet Union, were digitized and published for the online portal "Project for the Study of Dissidence and Samizdat" established by Prof. Ann Komaromi. Digitized egodocuments from the FSO archive
As part of the pilot project for the digitization of ego documents of the so called Information Service for East, Central and Southern.East Europe (State Library Munich, Germany), writings and photographs from archival holdings of the FSO archive were published on the osmikon research platform.
